What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water purification technology.

Say goodbye to unwanted contaminants such as sodium, sulphate, calcium, potassium, nitrate, mercury, lead, and many more.

Developed, designed and manufactured in the UK, RO systems are available in five ranges from 150 lph right up to over 12000 lph.

So, how does it work?

Reverse Osmosis uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from water.

In Reverse Osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure, a colligative property driven by chemical potential differences of the solvent, a thermodynamic parameter.

As safe as it is cost-effective, it requires no chemicals and very little maintenance.

Reverse Osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended species from water, including bacteria, and is used in industrial, commercial and domestic processes.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Did you know that a correctly configured reverse osmosis water filter can remove over 99% of impurities from feed water?

And because RO uses no chemical dosing, it enjoys relatively low ongoing costs.

Better still, membranes last on average up to two years.
